JOB DETAILS:
J&J Transport Zambia Limited is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Driver Instructor who will be responsible for driver instruction, safety and implementation of company fleet standards.
Duties
- Instruct, supervise and monitor drivers.
- Driver recruitment – screening, assessments and driver orientation.
- Regular driver evaluation and feedback on performance.
- Instruct drivers on traffic safety regulations, loading and unloading procedures, and proper care of equipment.
- Carry out truck inspections and follow up on required actions.
- Assist with accident investigations.
Requirements
- 15 years cross border truck driving.
- 5 years experience as a truck driver instructor.
- Fluent in English and other local languages.
- Certification in driver training from a recognized institution.
- Valid PSV licence – class DG
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: professional certificate
