Purpose of the role

The role is responsible for safe transportation for staff and visitors while managing vehicle maintenance and supporting office tasks, such as delivering documents and running administrative errands.

Key Responsibilities

Transport personnel and materials securely to assigned locations.

Perform regular checks (oil, tires, fuel) and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Deliver mail, bank documents, or office supplies; assist with basic office duties.

Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and service records.

Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety procedures

Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Skills and competencies

Defensive driving techniques

Conducting safety checks, understanding instrument panels, and ensuring the vehicle is roadworthy

Knowledge of local routes and traffic laws

Time management and punctuality

Professionalism and confidentiality

Experience and qualifications

Full grade twelve (12) certificate

Holder of driver’s license, minimum class C1

At least 3 years’ driving experience, in a similar role
