Job Purpose
To undertake driving of vehicles on official business in order to facilitate the mobility of officers and materials.
Principal Accountabilities
- Undertake regularly and safely the transportation of officers, materials and equipment in order to facilitate smooth operations.
- Undertake timely preparation of accident reports in order to facilitate decision making.
- Undertake timely completion of log books in order to enhance accountability of journeys.
- Undertake timely inspection of vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their roadworthiness.
- Undertake effective cleaning of vehicles under their charge in order to ensure their suitability for use.
- Undertake timely reporting of vehicle faults in order to facilitate their resolution.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Driver’s License Class C or higher.
- Certification in Automotive Mechanics.
- Minimum two (2) years relevant experience.
- Must be aged between 30 and 35 years.
