JOB DETAILS:
Certification Required: Dump Truck Operator's Certificate.
- Primary Responsibility: Operate large, heavy-duty dump trucks to move large volumes of overburden or ore.
- Key Duties:
- Conduct pre-operational checks on the dump truck (brakes, hydraulics, tires).
- Haul materials from loading areas (e.g., excavators) to designated dump sites.
- Maneuver and position the truck safely for loading and unloading.
- Coordinate with loading equipment operators and ground personnel using clear signals.
- Ensure the safe and efficient dumping of loads.
- Complete basic daily maintenance and cleaning of the equipment.
