Responsibilities or duties
- Operate computerized embroidery machines to produce quality designs.
- Set up machines and prepare garments and materials for production.
- Load and position designs correctly and monitor threads, needles, hoops and backing materials.
- Monitor machines and make adjustments when necessary.
- Check finished embroidery for quality and consistency.
- Perform basic machine cleaning, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Assist with thread changes, hooping, trimming and finishing.
- Ensure jobs are delivered according to customer specifications and deadlines.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Previous experience with computerized embroidery machines is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of embroidery production processes and quality standards.
- Knowledge of digitizing software is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of threads, fabrics, stabilizers and finishing.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine problems and meet deadlines.
