JOB DETAILS:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and well organized individual to fill a vacancy for the position of Engineer -Renewable Energy.
A renewable energy engineer designs, develops, and implements sustainable energy systems like solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and biomass power plants. The engineer conducts site assessments, feasibility studies, and project planning to ensure efficient and environmentally friendly energy production, while adhering to relevant regulations and sustainability standards;
This job also involves research in new technologies and optimisation of existing systems to maximize energy yield and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities and expectations:
• Carry out site inspections
• Conduct energy audits
• Manage energy projects
• Design and select equipment
• Monitor and manage projects activities
• Implement energy saving solutions
• Write and present technical reports timely and accurately
• Follow and promote all safety compliances
• Provide construction and operational support
• Three Phase Energy meters by KoCos
• Perform RF & Electrical testing of sub and final assemblies

Requirements:
• Candidates should have a relevant University degree of Technology in Electrical Engineering with relevant practical 5+ years applicable work experience.
• A Master’s Degree is an added advantage
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVsyst
• Excellent organizational and leadership ability
• Ability to work independently as well with a big team
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
• Strong ethics and inter-personal skills.
