Acacia College, through the EduCareIQ platform, connects families with trained and trusted educators who provide quality aftercare, tutoring, learning support and supervised activities for children.

EduCareIQ manages educator registration, vetting, bookings, scheduling, payments and session records, allowing educators to focus on what matters most — helping children learn, grow and thrive.

The Role

As an Acacia Educator, you will provide structured and engaging care and learning support to children through EduCareIQ.

Depending on your qualifications, skills and availability, you may provide services at a family's home, an approved Acacia College location, or another designated partner location.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Homework assistance and academic support
• One-on-one or small-group tutoring
• Reading and literacy support
• Mathematics and science support
• STEM and engineering activities
• Creative arts and music
• Educational games and supervised play
• Practical learning activities and projects
• Holiday learning and activity programmes
• School preparation and revision
• Supervision of children during aftercare
• Supporting children's social and creative development
• Providing parents/guardians with feedback on sessions

Educators can register their areas of competence and interest, including:

Educators should only offer subjects and activities for which they have the appropriate knowledge, experience or demonstrated competence.

2. Verification
   Acacia College reviews your information and completes the required verification and vetting checks.
3. Set Your Availability
   Tell us when and where you are available to provide services.
4. Receive Bookings
   Families request services through EduCareIQ. Suitable educators can be matched with available bookings based on their skills, location, availability and profile.
5. Deliver the Session
   Provide the agreed educational, aftercare or enrichment service professionally and safely.
6. Record the Session
   Complete the required session information through EduCareIQ.
7. Get Paid
   Payments are processed through the EduCareIQ platform in accordance with Acacia College's educator payment terms.
