About the Role – Events Coordinator Jobs in Lusaka
As an Events Coordinator / Projects Officer at ZIEA, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing a variety of events including conferences, workshops, meetings, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns. You will also be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and communications to ensure successful delivery of institutional programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate conferences, workshops, meetings, exhibitions, and public awareness events.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and activity reports to guide successful execution.
- Engage and coordinate with stakeholders including institutions, partners, and the public to foster collaboration.
- Prepare detailed proposals, concept notes, reports, and presentations to support project objectives.
- Assist in the implementation of institutional projects and programmes ensuring alignment with goals.
- Manage publicity and communication efforts related to projects and events to maximize outreach.
- Monitor project timelines closely to ensure activities are completed on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects and events.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
- At least two years of relevant work experience in event or project coordination.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong ability to multitask, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.
