Position: Executive Driver

Location: Lusaka

The Company seeks to employ a highly professional, reliable, and trustworthy individual to serve as Executive Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and confidential transportation services to the Directors and other authorized personnel, while ensuring company vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and all assigned duties are carried out professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport Directors, staff, visitors, products, and materials to designated locations.
  • Provide dedicated transport support in line with Directors' schedules, appointments, meetings, and business requirements.
  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of assigned transport duties while maintaining flexibility to accommodate changing priorities.
  • Follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist with loading and offloading luggage, documents, products, and other items as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company information, business activities, and executive movements.
  • Take full accountability for fuel purchases, submit fuel receipts, and report any discrepancies promptly.
  • Keep assigned vehicles clean, presentable, roadworthy, licensed, insured, and serviced according to schedule.
  • Notify management at least 30 days before vehicle service, insurance, or licensing due dates.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle logs, mileage records, and trip reports.
  • Report accidents, incidents, traffic violations, or vehicle defects immediately.
  • Monitor traffic conditions and adjust routes to ensure timely arrivals.
  • Ensure company vehicles are parked in designated and secure locations at all times.
  • Perform errands and other assignments as directed by the CEO, Directors, or Management.
  • Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

  • Valid and current Zambian Driver's License (Class C or higher).
  • Minimum of 5 years' professional driving experience, preferably in an executive or corporate environment.
  • Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • Clean driving record with a proven history of safe driving.
  • Good knowledge of Lusaka roads and surrounding areas.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to use smartphones, navigation systems (Google Maps), and communication applications.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • High levels of integrity, discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
  • Ability to work flexible hours when required.
  • Well-groomed with a professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
