JOB DETAILS:
Job Description
To manage the facilities management function of high complexity facilities, ensuring efficient operation and sustainability of facilities and equipment as well as fleet of motor vehicles, in achievement of Infrastructure and Facilities Management strategic objectives
• Contribute to the development of a budget aligned to operational delivery plans, monitor effectiveness and report on variances.
• Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards.
• Focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation.
• Provide input into the development of the strategy, and develop and implement a supporting Infrastructure and Facilities Strategy.
• Ensure assets are fully maintained to agreed/required standards and departmental protocols; manage all property assets, plant and equipment life cycle and sustainability.
• Manage and review service contracts to ensure all facility management needs are being met; ensure all appropriate contractual processes for contract management are applied.
• Drive and Manage the Bank’s environmental and greening initiatives.
• Manage projects performance and analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
• Develop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions to make organisational improvements.
• Ensure compliance to legislative and audit requirements and adherence to relevant processes.
• Implement and manage Building Management Services systems and obtain reports from these systems. Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions relating to building operations.
• Manage people by executing management responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellence.
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the FRG.
• Coach team through providing advice about subject matter, solutions, principles and processes and personal progression with the aim to improve performance.
