What you would be expected to do:
- Perform product and electronic component failure checks using appropriate diagnostic tools and methods.
- Conduct regular field visits to collect, investigate, verify, and resolve customer complaints.
- Maintain and update Zambia’s troubleshooting records, ensuring accuracy and consistency in after-sales service reports.
- Assist in managing critical quality risks by deploying immediate mitigation actions locally.
- Work with the service team to enhance troubleshooting processes for continuous improvement.
- Provide qualification and failure check assistance to partners in case of claims.
- Deliver training sessions and technical guidance to improve the team’s troubleshooting expertise and overall technical knowledge.
You might be a strong candidate if you:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, major in engineering or equivalent applicable experience.
- Proven experience in product failure checks or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of failure check techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and practices is a plus.
