As a Field Sales & Marketing Agent, you will play a crucial role in expanding Urbanex’s customer base by promoting our comprehensive logistics services. This position requires a proactive approach to lead generation, client engagement, and service promotion across Lusaka’s bustling markets and commercial areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute flyers in high-traffic locations including markets, shops, malls, bus stations, and business districts throughout Lusaka.
• Engage with potential clients, focusing on individuals and businesses importing goods from China, to collect contact details and generate leads.
• Organize and manage information booths at events and marketplaces to showcase Urbanex’s services.
• Conduct competitor analysis by monitoring pricing and gathering market feedback to inform business strategy.
• Manage incoming inquiries via WhatsApp and phone, converting prospects into paying customers.
• Maintain regular follow-up with leads through daily calls and WhatsApp messages until their shipments are confirmed with Urbanex.
• Educate clients on Urbanex’s logistics solutions, including air and sea freight, consolidation services, door-to-door delivery, and supplier payment assistance.
• Provide frontline customer support and escalate complex issues to senior management when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum education: Grade 12 Certificate (mandatory).
• Additional qualifications such as a Certificate or Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently and professionally.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently in the field.
• Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Residency in Lusaka and availability for fieldwork are essential.
