About the Role
As a Field Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations in legume production, focusing on crops like beans, groundnuts, and soybeans. Your responsibilities will include managing Extension Officers, ensuring quality control, and driving farmer engagement to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support Extension Officers and field staff
- Monitor and evaluate production activities to ensure quality and efficiency
- Provide training and mentorship to farmers and field staff
- Report on field activities and outcomes to management
- Ensure adherence to agricultural best practices and company standards
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture or related field
- Experience in legume production and smallholder farmer engagement
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in rural settings with limited infrastructure
- Motorbike riding skills are an advantage
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: bachelor degree
