We are seeking two (2) motivated and detail-oriented interns to support core operations of the SACCO, particularly in loan administration, financial record management, and member services. The successful candidates will gain hands-on experience in SACCO/microfinance operations while contributing to efficient service delivery and strong financial management practices.
Specific Responsibilities
- Support loan administration processes including member engagement, loan disbursement, repayment tracking and loan collections; assist with reconciliations (ledger, cashbook, and bank); and maintain accurate, up-to-date member records and KYC documentation in the loan management system
- Undertake other duties assigned by the supervisor and ExCom from time to time.
Qualifications/Required Skills
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Business, Banking, or any other related training.
- Ability to organize and manage time effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize them appropriately.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active listening and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly excel) and other relevant software programmes.
- Experience in loan management will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
