Job Summary

KAFUE CELTIC FC is seeking a dynamic detail-oriented and highly organised Finance Officer with at least an AAT Level 3 qualification to support the effective financial management of the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing financial transactions, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting payroll, audits, and reporting functions. The role requires proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero, and strong knowledge of Zambian statutory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • – Full or Part Qualification in AAT Level 3 or equivalent accounting qualification.
  • – Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • – Experience using Xero accounting software is highly desirable.
  • – Experience in handling Zambian tax and statutory filings including VAT, PAYE, NAPSA, and NHIMA.
  • – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • – Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • – Good organisational, communication, and time management skills.
  • – Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

  • – Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • – Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero
