WeCure Pharmacy, Zambia's leading online pharmacy, is expanding its team and seeking dedicated professionals for multiple positions.
Responsibilities or duties
Finance Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash handling, POS reconciliation, and banking of pharmacy sales revenue.
- Process supplier payments, staff expense reimbursements, and petty cash transactions accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including sales reports, purchase ledgers, and monthly profit-and-loss statements.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding insurance claims, and reconcile patient billing accounts.
- Assist in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial forecasting for pharmacy operations.
- Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, etc.) and prepare supporting documents for audits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional customer service and pharmaceutical care
- Dispense medicines and provide pharmaceutical advice where applicable
- Maintain inventory, stock records, and monitor expiry dates
- Prepare daily operational reports and support branch operations
- Participate in community health awareness campaigns
- Create health-related content for social media platforms
- Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards
Qualifications or requirements
Finance & Operations Officer
- Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and POS systems
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work day, evening, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Preference given to candidates residing in or near Chalala, Avondale, Chilenje, Woodlands, Libala, Salama Park, Ibex Hill, Chelston, PHI, Mtendere, Obama, or Kaunda Square
