About the Company

Britimu Legacy Investment Limited is involved in the retail and wholesale supply of petroleum products. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Finance & Administration Officer to join our team.

The successful candidate must be highly organised, technology-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced petroleum industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and accounting records.
  • Handle VAT returns and related statutory requirements.
  • Manage banking, payments, cash transactions and bank reconciliations.
  • Process company payments and be comfortable using online banking and banking software.
  • Prepare and submit ERB returns and maintain regulatory records.
  • Manage NAPSA, NHIMA and Workers’ Compensation submissions.
  • Maintain proper financial and administrative records in both hard and electronic formats.
  • Assist with accounts payable, receivables, cash-flow monitoring and general administration.
  • Provide good customer service and sales support where required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • ACCA, ZICA or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in the petroleum industry.
  • Practical knowledge of VAT, financial reporting, banking and reconciliations.
  • Experience with ERB, NAPSA, NHIMA and Workers’ Compensation requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
  • Very up to date with current technology trends and able to adapt to new digital tools and systems.
  • Comfortable using online banking platforms and banking software, including making and managing authorised company payments.
  • Strong record-keeping, communication, organisational and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be based in Lusaka.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8 hours per day
  • Saturday: Half day
