Role Overview:
Spectrum Credit is seeking Financial Consultants to play a key role in driving financing. The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing loans, ensuring quality portfolio growth while maintaining low default risk. This role demands a results-oriented professional who can balance business growth with prudent credit risk management, while delivering excellent customer service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage new client onboarding through the official digital client onboarding channel.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, attending to their financial needs timely.
- Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships, through excellent service and support.
- Uphold integrity, reliability, and respect in all interactions, maintaining high ethical standards.
- Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Portfolio at Risk (PAR), and targets.
- Actively engage existing, high-quality clients to achieve refinancing, ensuring long-term portfolio stability.
- Proactively scout and onboard new high-potential loan clients per month and expand the current portfolio.
- Manage and follow up on USSD-based inquiries, successfully converting leads into active loan applicants.
- Secure and process new clients each month to meet aggressive organizational monthly disbursement targets.
- Ensure all lending activities comply with lending policies & regulations, local financial laws, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and "Know Your Customer" (KYC) standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates or candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply, provided they are trainable and eager to learn.
- Minimum 1 year experience in lending, microfinance, banking, or other relevant industries is preferred.
- Ability to engage clients directly, adapt to dynamic environments, and meet evolving business requirements.
- Customer service excellence
- Ability to assess borrower risk and portfolio quality.
- Understanding of industry regulations and adherence to company policies.
