Background
Tera Fleet Management Limited is currently seeking to employ Flatbed Truck Drivers in the Transport and Logistics Department to join our growing team.
POSITION:
Flatbed Truck Driver (X10)
LOCATION:
Ndola
DEPARTMENT:
Transport and Logistics
JOB PURPOSE
To safely transport various cargo using heavy duty trucks within the country and the surrounding region.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver cargo safely using company trucks while observing local and cross-border traffic regulations.
- Maintain trucks in good and clean condition by performing routine inspections before every trip and communicating anything needing attention.
- Ensure trucks are mechanically sound and all documentation complies with all legal requirements.
- Maintain documentation of all trips from loading, transportation, border clearance and offloading.
- Maintain good communication with the fleet manager while on a trip
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Every candidate should attach the following documents to their application to be considered:
- Application Letter
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Ability to read and write
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a truck driver, handling international SADC routes (DRC, Mozambique, and Tanzania)
- Certified fingerprints
- Passport copy with border stamps
- CE-class Dangerous Goods and PSV license
- Two (2) passport-size photos
- Recent medical report
- Utility bill or title deed (proof of residence)
- BELSAM/ENAC certification
- National Registration Card (NRC) copy
- Yellow Book
- At least 3 to 4 references from previous employers
