KCM SmelterCo Limited a subsidiary of Konkola Copper Mines Plc (KCM Plc) is one of the largest copper and cobalt processing companies in Zambia. It operates an underground mine in Nampundwe, a refinery in Kitwe, and a crushing & milling plant, a tailings leach plant and a state of the art smelter in Chingola. To support this vision KCM SmelterCo Limited would like to recruit experienced and qualified individuals for the above position at Nkana Refinery and Nampundwe Mine.

Job Purpose
Carry out installation, setting up, testing, repairing and maintenance of all instrumentation machinery and control systems

Main Roles & Responsibilities will include:
• Repair and maintain all instrumentation equipment in the section
• Install, calibrate and commissioning of instrumentation equipment
• Troubleshooting of the PLCs, SCADA System and fibre communication systems
• Any other instrumentation duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Craft Certificate – Instrumentation
• At least 3 years practical experience
• Innovative, self-starter and good team player
• Ready to work odd hours whenever need arises
• Member of Engineering Institute of Zambia

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
