• To plan loading/offloading activities for the day and submit list to the warehouse team for execution.
• To consolidate and verify data from the warehouse and input in the system for reporting purposes.
• To compile and verify stock/tracking reports for clients and send them out on a daily basis as per client requirement.
• To ensure all pre-alerts/transport documents are sent to relevant receiving parties and 100% filed in Alfresco.
• To attend to client/vendor queries and ensure prompt feedback/solution is given in a professional manner.
• To monitor commodity in transit and ensure all KPIs are met until cargo is offloaded at destination.
• To co-ordinate capacity requirements for the project with capacity team on a daily basis in order to manage turnaround time of trucks/KPIs.
• Conduct physical stock counts of cargo and reconcile with the Stocks Controller and appointed Inspection Company for onward reporting to the client.

Minimum Qualifications

• Full Grade 12 Certificate with a merit or higher in both Mathematics and English
• Diploma in Transport and Logistics
• Proficiency in computer applications (computer literate)
• Current paid-up membership with the Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (ZCILT)
• A minimum of one (1) year of working experience in warehousing and logistics will be an added advantage
