JOB DETAILS:

The Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) a body corporate and responsible for regulation of public procurement in Zambia invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for appointment into the ZPPA’s staff establishment in the following position:

GARDENER/CARETAKER, ZPPA 10 (1 POSITION)

PURPOSE

To clean the Authority surroundings and nature lawns and flowers.

STATEMENT OF MAIN DUTIES

The Gardener/Caretaker will be responsible for performing the following duties among others:

1. Clean the office building surroundings to ensure a clean and habitable environment;

2. Nature grass lawns and flowers and surroundings to ensure cleanliness;

3. Clean and collect all litter in the car park and surrounding environment; and

4. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Education: Full Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with passes in five subjects inclusive of English.

2. Vocational Requirements: Proof of Horticulture training or landscaping will be an added advantage.

3. Relevant Work Experience: Minimum one (1) year work experience in horticulture or landscaping related work.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be physically fit and able to endure all whether conditions; and

2. Should have good interpersonal skills.

TENURE

The position of Gardener/Caretaker is on permanent and pensionable terms of employment.
