Job Purpose

To ensure the safety and security of people, property, and premises by maintaining vigilance, controlling access, and responding to security incidents.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Guard and patrol assigned premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Control entry and exit of people, vehicles, and goods
• Monitor surroundings and report suspicious activities
• Ensure doors, gates, and security equipment are properly secured
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations
• Maintain a daily occurrence book (OB) and write incident reports
• Enforce company security rules and procedures
• Work day and night shifts as assigned

Minimum Requirements

• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Physically fit and mentally alert
• Good communication skills
• Able to read and write basic reports
• No criminal record
• Previous security experience is an added advantage

• Shift work (day/night)
