JOB DETAILS:
• This is a heavy equipment mobile machinery (HEMM)
• Operating of heavy earth moving machinery in an effective and efficient manner to optimize productivity whilst complying with all the necessary safety and environmental requirements associated with mobile equipment
• Safe operation of equipment that ensures reliable performance and no damages occur
• Pre-start inspection of equipment to identify any requirements for maintenance or repair
• Efficient operation of equipment to ensure cycle times, fuel consumption, material volume and other target production parameters are achieved
• Participate in maintenance and repair of equipment in collaboration with maintenance personnel and routine washing of equipment
• Completion of production tally sheets, pre-start logbooks and other required documentation
• Comply with the necessary safety and environmental requirements associated with surface mining and support equipment
Requirements
• Full Grade 12 School Certificate
• Certificate of competence on surface mining and support equipment
• Minimum 3 years of operating experience in a similar mining environment
