Job Summary:
The HR & Admin Officer supports the HR & Admin Manager in the daily operations of the human resources and administrative functions. This role focuses on recruitment coordination, employee record management, office administration, and ensuring a compliant and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files (manual and digital), including contracts and leave records.
- Payroll Support: Assist in collecting attendance data and overtime reports for payroll processing.
- Administration: Manage office stationery, pantry supplies, and coordinate with vendors for office maintenance.
- Statutory Remittances: Assist in the preparation of NAPSA and NHIMA schedules.
- Employee Engagement: Assist in organizing company events and handling employee queries regarding HR policies.
- Compliance: Ensure all new hires have valid contracts and necessary medical/statutory clearances.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in an HR or Administration role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
