Background information about the job or company:
JCHX Mining Management Co., Ltd. has been awarded a five-year contract for underground mining services at MMG's Khoemacau Copper Mine at Toteng, Zone 5, Botswana. JCHX, a global mining contractor with nearly 30 years of experience, will be responsible for the development and operation of the underground mine. The project is seen as a significant step towards MMG's goal of increasing copper production at Khoemacau.
Responsibilities or duties:
- - Provide recruitment services to meet project requirements
- - Manage the industrial relationship between the company and employees
- - Job Evaluation process basic knowledge
- - Capacity Building & Talent Management
- - Provide efficient payroll service and attendance recording for direct project employees
- - Corporate Governance
- - Execute transactional/Administrative Effectiveness and Records Management
- - Permits Administration: Assist the department with expatriates’ work & resident Permits Application and renewals
- - Reports: Assist with monthly reports compilation and submission to the client
- - Carry out any additional responsibilities and objectives assigned by the Supervisor and/ Senior Management, including annual performance goals
Qualifications or requirements:
- - Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, or equivalent
- - 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role
- - A Valid Class ‘B’ Driver’s Licence
Experience needed:
5-10 years’ experience in a similar role.
