JOB DETAILS:

We are looking for a Health & Safety Officer to join our team in Ndola Zambia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor health & safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure workplace safety.
• Deliver safety training, awareness campaigns, and toolbox talks for employees.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Zambian laws, regulations, and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with management and staff to promote a strong safety culture.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in health & safety (preferably in logistics, transport, or industrial environment).
• Knowledge of Zambian health & safety regulations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Certification in First Aid, Fire Safety, or related training will be an added advantage.

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
