Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Repair (H.E.R) Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment such as dump trucks, loaders, and boomers
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventive servicing on machinery.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical system issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance procedures.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
• Collaborate with operators and other team members to ensure minimal downtime.
• Report major mechanical faults and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or a related field.
• Trade certification in heavy equipment repair
• Valid practicing licence with EIZ
• Minimum 2 years and above of experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
• Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and hazard management.
• Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues efficiently.
• Capability to work in demanding environments and lift heavy parts
• Valid silicosis
