We are recruiting a results-driven Human Resource Manager with proven experience in the Oil Marketing Company (OMC) sector. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment, industrial relations, and payroll administration, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the HR function in line with labour laws, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Oversee employee and industrial relations, ensuring a harmonious workplace.
  • Administer payroll processing.
  • Collect and verify employee attendance records, including overtime, leave, and absence tracking.
  • Manage and support remote teams and distributed workforces.
  • Create, update, and enforce HR policies in compliance with legal requirements and company culture.
  • Develop and execute performance management systems, including regular feedback and goal-setting.
  • Ensure seamless execution of all HR operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the OMC sector.
  • Expertise in employee relations, recruitment, industrial relations, and payroll accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Dovepay Payroll System.
  • Paid-up member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM) – mandatory.Zambian job trends
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
