We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Officer to manage day-to-day human resource functions, ensure compliance with labor laws, and support employee development and performance. The HR Officer will play a key role in building a positive workplace culture while supporting business growth.

• Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, shortlisting, and interviews
• Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation
• Facilitate employee induction and orientation programs
• Manage employee records and maintain HR files
• Support performance management processes and appraisals
• Handle employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary processes in line with company policy
• Prepare payroll inputs and coordinate with finance
• Manage leave, attendance, and overtime records
• Ensure accurate and confidential handling of employee information
• Ensure compliance with Zambian labor laws and statutory requirements
• Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures
• Prepare HR reports for management
• Identify training needs and coordinate staff training programs
• Support employee growth and skills development initiatives
• Support workplace health and safety initiatives
• Promote employee wellness and a positive work environment

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Professional certification (ZHRIM, IHRM, CIPD) – added advantage
• Minimum of 2–4 years HR experience
• Knowledge of Zambian labor laws and HR best practices
• Experience working in an SME or manufacturing environment is an advantage
