This internship programme offers final-year students and recent graduates an opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience, professional mentorship, and exposure to real business operations. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and develop practical skills relevant to their field of study.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Applicants must have:

  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate
  • Be a final-year student or recent graduate
  • A Diploma or Degree in:
    • Finance or Accounting
    • Procurement, Purchasing and/or Supply
    • Human Resource Management
    • Business Administration
    • Or a related field

Responsibilities or duties

Human Resources Intern – Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Maintain and organize employee records and HR documentation
  • Support attendance, leave, and personnel data management
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and correspondence
  • Support employee engagement and administrative activities
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information

Required Competencies and Skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Assist with processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
  • Support account reconciliations and preparation of financial reports
  • Assist with invoice verification and payment processing
  • Help with filing and organizing accounting documents
  • Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned
  • Organize procurement and delivery documentation, including inbound and outbound inventory records and goods acceptance records
  • Follow up on supplier reconciliations and settlement payments
  • Identify documentation risks and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain accurate procurement files and records
  • Support day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities
