JOB DETAILS:
A medium sized copper mining and processing company on the Copperbelt Province is seeking services of a Human Resources Officer on renewable contract basis.

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensure that these are well managed and meet the requirement of the company’s policies, best practice and employment legislation.
2. Ensure that managers and staff are aware of the policies and procedures and are able to operate them efficiently.
3. Monitor and review the system of performance appraisals and continually develop as necessary, ensuring that annual appraisals are carried out in a timely manner and followed up. Making recommendation to line managers and employees on areas for improvement.
4. Maintain human resources records as required.
5. Assist with the annual salary review process.
6. Monitor sickness and absence levels and provide monthly management reports if required in areas of concern.
7. Review and manage processes of recruitment of new employees and separation with old employees.
8. Perform office management and HR administration related duties as required
9. Preparation of monthly HR reports
10. And other duties to be assigned by superiors.

Qualifications & Experience
1. Relevant Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management
2. Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in the Mining Industry
3. Should be an affiliate of the ZIHRM
