Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and approachable Human Resources Officer to join our team. The HR Officer will be responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, from orientation and training to day-to-day HR administration and employee relations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of labor laws, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks. Manage the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues. Mediate and resolve conflicts in a professional and confidential manner.
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS). Process documentation related to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations).
  • Performance Management: Assist in implementing and monitoring performance appraisal systems. Track employee progress and help managers develop improvement plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company’s HR policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal labor laws. Assist in updating the employee handbook.
  • Benefits & Payroll: Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accurate deductions, leave tracking, and timely answering of employee questions.
  • Culture & Engagement: Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and wellness programs to promote a positive company culture.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified or registered with relevant HR bodies
  • Experience: 2~4 years of proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Assistant, or similar role.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of employment/labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience using HRIS/HRMS software (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, or Gusto).

  • Confidentiality: High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Organization: Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
