JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The IT Manager shall be responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure of the University and its associated projects. This role ensures efficient IT operations, security, scalability, and alignment with business objectives while managing staff, vendors, budgets, and compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Oversee IT systems, networks, cloud infrastructure, and virtualization environments.
• Develop and implement IT policies, security measures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure data security, system performance, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Manage IT support staff.
• Plan, budget, and optimize IT infrastructure for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, network health, and cybersecurity risks.
• Manage vendor relationships, procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Implement change management processes to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT solutions with business needs.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience.
