Job Purpose
To undertake the provision of ICT support for ICT systems in order to facilitate seamless user access to ICT and e-service.
Principal Accountabilities
- To design and develop software applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural guidelines:
- To write high-quality, efficient, and scalable code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainable code practice;
- To Design and implement integration strategies for seamless data flow between applications and systems;
- To create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and user manuals and ensuring that documentation accurately reflects the application design and functionality;
- To troubleshoot application-related incidents in order to ensure availability of ICT services; and
- To perform other incidental tasks consistent with software application development objectives of the Commission.
Qualifications
- Full-Form V or Grade 12 School Certificate;
- BSc in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Must be a member of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia:
- Aged between 25 and 35 years old.Skills/attributes
