JOB DETAILS:
Purpose
To protect company interest and integrity, property and fellow workmates physically and emotionally as enshrined in the company code of conduct.

Key Responsibilities
• This position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function.
• To detect crimes reported on the mine site and outside pertaining to mine issues
• To deal with any person who may be found wanting of breaching the company’s disciplinary code of conduct and the law of the land.
• To prevent criminal activities by way of sensitizing employees of the mine and other stakeholders (Contractors).
• To apprehend intruders found within the mine site criminally with intentions of committing felonies or misdemeanors, and safe passage to court for prosecution.
• To implement policies, new and old of the company designed in order to safeguard the interest of the company.
• And any other duties so directed by the authority that is not infringing the rights of workers at large.
• To provide equitable advice to the workers on matters of security of the nation and company.
• Provide training and development opportunities for all direct reports on an ongoing basis, with a particular focus on Zambian employees
• Other duties as directed by the Supervisor

Qualifications
• Grade 12 school certificate
• Experience
• Minimum 10 years experience in law enforcement or police service
