We are recruiting!
Our Client in Lusaka, is looking for a Irrigation Manager to join their team for a job vacancy within the seeds & seedlings,Agrochems & Irrigation & Greenhousing industry.
IRRIGATION SALES/DEPARTMENT MANAGER

Duties and responsibilities.
• Able to understand, design, develop and sell irrigation systems that will produce the best results for customers.
• Share knowledge and experience on Centre Pivots, Drip and Microjet irrigation, Dam lining, greenhouses and related products
• Should be able to bring in sales following management’s set targets.
• Responsible for the planning and management of departmental stock, sales forecasts and budgets.
• Managing customer accounts and debtor collections
• Managing irrigation projects during installation and supervising all irrigation staff.
• Producing irrigation quotes/costings and managing installation costs.
• Auditing irrigation system installations.
• Advising management on all activities related to irrigation and related agriculture in the country.

Education and Qualifications
• The candidate should have a degree in Agriculture/Civil/Irrigation Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of water requirements / systems for agricultural crops
• Knowledge of appropriate irrigation design software.
• Member of an Engineering Institute
