JOB DETAILS:
Position Overview:
As a Junior Enterprise Architect in our consulting firm, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with their enterprise architecture (EA) initiatives. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and principal enterprise architect, senior business analysts, and client stakeholders to assess, design, and implement architectural solutions that align business objectives with IT strategies. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and collaborative consulting environment.

Responsibilities:
i) Enterprise Architecture Support:
• Assist in the development of enterprise architecture frameworks, principles, and strategies.
• Analyze current state (“As-Is”) architectures, identify gaps, and recommend future state (“To-Be”) architectures.
• Document business, information, application, data and technology architectures in alignment with client goals.
ii) Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Organise and support technical workshops, and meetings.
• Build relationships with client teams to understand their challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and identify architecture solutions.
iii) Solution Development
• Provide support during the integration and deployment of new systems, ensuring compatibility with existing platforms.
• Contribute to creating roadmaps, models, and plans to implement enterprise architecture recommendations.
• Support the evaluation and selection of technologies, platforms, and vendors.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT consulting, enterprise or solutions architecture, business application development, systems integration or related roles.
• Exposure to IT strategy, business analysis, or system integration projects is a plus.
• Basic understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Knowledge of business, application, data and technology architecture concepts.
• Proficiency in modeling tools such as ArchiMate, Visio, or EA-specific tools (e.g., Sparx EA, Abacus EA).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Eagerness to learn and develop a career in enterprise architecture, with mentorship and training support.
• Current member of ICTAZ
• TOGAF certification is a plus but not required at this stage
