Kitchen Assistant

Work Location: Lusaka

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the chef with washing, cutting, and preparing ingredients.
• Responsible for organizing, storing, and categorizing kitchen raw materials.
• Assist the chef in cooking and plating dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment.
• Follow daily operations according to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Responsible for cleaning and organizing kitchen utensils and tableware.
• Assist with receiving goods, inventory counts, and stock management.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the head chef or supervisor.

Requirements:

• Male, aged 18-40.
• Must have at least one year of experience working in a Chinese restaurant.
• Healthy and able to adapt to the kitchen work environment.
• Responsible, hardworking, and able to follow management instructions.
• Good team spirit and learning ability.
• Basic Chinese communication skills preferred.
• Able to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
