Background

Operate large-format printers, vinyl cutters and related finishing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Produce banners, posters, stickers, vinyl graphics, signage and other large-format products.
  • Review artwork, dimensions, colours and customer instructions before printing.
  • Prepare print files using graphic-design and RIP software.
  • Load media, ink and other materials correctly.
  • Monitor production to maintain consistent colour and print quality.
  • Perform laminating, trimming, mounting, weeding and other finishing work.
  • Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machines.
  • Identify and report equipment faults promptly.
  • Keep accurate records of completed jobs and materials used.
  • Minimise ink, vinyl and media wastage.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised production area.
  • Work with designers and customer-service staff to meet deadlines.
  • Assist customers when required.

  • Ability to understand measurements and production specifications.
  • Good time-management and organisational skills.
