JOB DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE

To undertake the preparation and delivery of training to impart knowledge, attitudes and skills in students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and deliver theoretical and practical learning of high standards
• Maintaining a teaching file
• Assess students by administering assignments and tests
• Maintain students’ performance records
• Maintain order and discipline among students
• Participate in designing, marketing and implementation of viable programmes & projects
• Coordinate with other staff in ensuring institute objectives are achieved
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Full Grade twelve (12) or equivalent Certificate with credits or better in five subjects
• Advanced Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Automotive or any Engineering program
• Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ)
• Certificate in Teaching methodology
• TEVETA accredited trainer is an added advantage
• Two (2) years teaching/practical experience preferably in a TEVET Institution
• Good facilitation and interpersonal skills

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: professional certificate
