JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE
To undertake the preparation and delivery of training to impart knowledge, attitudes and skills in students.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and deliver theoretical and practical learning of high standards
- Maintaining a teaching file
- Assess students by administering assignments and tests
- Maintain students’ performance records
- Maintain order and discipline among students
- Participate in designing, marketing and implementation of viable programmes and projects
- Coordinate with other staff in ensuring institute objectives are achieved.
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Full Grade twelve (12) or equivalent Certificate with credits or better in five subjects.
- Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery.
- Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
- Diploma in Teaching methodology.
- TEVETA accredited trainer as an added advantage.
- Two (2) years Teaching/practical experience preferably in a TEVET Institution.
- Good facilitation and interpersonal skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: professional certificate
