Rockview University is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide legal guidance, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support the university in legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling Conveyancing Matters
• Drafting and reviewing memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
• Provide legal advice on university policies, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
• Represent the university in legal proceedings when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with higher education laws and other relevant regulations.
• Work closely with internal departments to mitigate legal risks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) – a required qualification.
• Master’s degree in Law (LLM) is an added advantage.
• 0 to 2 years of post-admission experience as an advocate of the High Court.
• Must be a registered member of the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ).
• Strong research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
