JOB DETAILS:
Overall Purpose: To operate Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) machinery to muck (load) and transport ore and waste from underground draw points to ore passes or trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate LHD equipment to load and transport material.
- Perform pre-start checks and basic maintenance (greasing, cleaning).
- Communicate effectively with truck operators and ground personnel.
Qualifications: - Experience operating LHDs (e.g., Sandvik, Caterpillar) in an underground environment.
- Underground equipment competency certification.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: professional certificate
