Background

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Logistics Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fleet operations, maintenance, statutory compliance, and fuel cost control.
- Supervise drivers and enforce transport policies and safety standards.
- Manage invoicing for Modern and General Trade and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure 100% tracking, recovery, and timely submission of Proof of Delivery (PODs).
- Coordinate approved transporters and monitor all dispatched consignments.
- Implement systems that improve logistics efficiency, accountability, and turnaround times.
Performance Focus
- Timely collection and 100% retirement of PODs.
- Reduction and control of fleet fuel costs.
- Efficient documentation systems implementation.
- Effective coordination of transporters and delivery follow-ups.
- Improved turnaround time for invoicing and payment facilitation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Transport & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Fully registered and paid-up member of ZILTS with a valid practicing licence.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational, supervisory, and communication skills.
- High integrity and accountability.
