Weaverbird Group is expanding its logistics operations and seeking a skilled Logistics Operator who is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin). This role is ideal for someone with hands-on logistics experience and the ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural boundaries.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor daily logistics operations including shipments, deliveries, and inventory
• Communicate with Chinese-speaking suppliers, partners, and internal teams
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement and warehouse activities
• Assist in planning and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Operate logistics software and systems to optimize workflow
• Support cross-functional teams with translation and interpretation when needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
• Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (spoken and written)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with Lusaka’s industrial zones and transport routes
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Basic computer literacy (Excel, inventory systems, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license is an added advantage
