We are looking for a qualified and dependable Machinist to join our organization. The successful applicant will possess substantial machining experience, comprehensive technical expertise, and dedication to delivering superior workmanship. This position demands precise execution, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to operate independently with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run, configure, and care for both manual and CNC machining equipment.
  • Read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Carry out precise measurements and conduct quality inspections on finished parts.
  • Identify and resolve machining problems to ensure the machines operate efficiently.
  • Keep the workspace tidy, secure, and well-organized.
  • Work closely with supervisors and production teams to achieve project deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Machinist.
  • ZAQA-recognized qualification in a relevant technical field.
  • EIZ (Engineering Institution of Zambia) membership/registration.
  • Full Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Reliable, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Added Advantages

  • Proficient in CNC programming.
  • Familiar with safety protocols and quality control practices.
  • Capable of performing effectively under pressure and achieving production objectives.
