JOB DETAILS:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for mining equipment and vehicles.
2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
5. Manage a team of technicians and provide technical guidance.
6. Monitor inventory levels and request spare parts as needed.
7. Maintain detailed records of maintenance work and equipment performance.
8. Work closely with operations teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience:
1. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in the mining or heavy equipment industry.
3. Must be a registered member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
4. Strong knowledge of mining machinery, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
5. Experience in troubleshooting and repairing heavy-duty equipment.
6. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
7. Leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
9. Familiarity with maintenance management software is an advantage.
