JOB DETAILS:
Role Summary:
Responsible for the mechanical reliability of the sugar process plant, specifically the Crushing Mill, Boilers, and Turbines, excluding the electrical/instrumentation components.
Key Responsibilities:
Mill House: Ensure high availability of the cane crushing mill, focusing on hydraulic systems, knifing, and shredder maintenance.
Boiler Maintenance: Oversee maintenance of water-tube boilers (bagasse/coal fired), including soot blowers, ID/FD fans, and pressure parts.
Turbine Oversight: Manage the mechanical maintenance of condensing and back-pressure steam turbines.
Root Cause Analysis: Lead failure analysis for critical equipment using tools like FMEA.
Shutdown Planning: Plan and execute annual shutdowns (capital repairs) for the plant.
Inventory: Control warehouse inventory for mechanical spares (bearings, seals, valves).
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 12-15 years of experience in heavy process industries (Sugar preferred).
Skills: Strong knowledge of FPE (Factory Pressure Equipment) safety standards.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: bachelor degree
