Role Summary:
We are seeking two energetic and results-oriented Marketing Sales Representatives to join our team in Lusaka. The primary focus of this role is to drive sales growth for our core products – fuel (petrol/diesel), lubricants, and LPG – and to actively acquire new individual and business accounts. You will be instrumental in building customer relationships and implementing local marketing initiatives to boost brand visibility and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively promote and sell Bilcoguard Energies’ fuel (petrol/diesel), lubricants, and LPG products to meet and exceed sales targets.
Identify, prospect, and secure new B2B (fleet/commercial) and B2C (individual/household LPG) accounts within the Lusaka area.
Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
Implement targeted local marketing and promotional activities focused specifically on fuel, lubricants, and LPG offerings.
Gather and report on local market intelligence, including competitor activities and customer feedback related to fuel, lubricants, and LPG.
Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management.
Collaborate effectively with station operations teams to ensure alignment and excellent customer experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
1-3 years of proven experience in a sales and/or marketing role, preferably within the retail, FMCG, fuel, lubricants, or energy sectors in Zambia.
Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets.
Full Grade 12 Certificate.
Membership with the Zambia Institute of Marketing (ZIM) is a plus.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong selling, negotiation, and closing skills are essential.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly customer-focused with a passion for building lasting relationships.
Proactive, self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Good understanding of the Lusaka market dynamics and competitors in the fuel/lubricants/LPG space.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides). Familiarity with CRM software is beneficial.
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages (e.g., Tonga, Nyanja, Bemba, Shona, Chinese ) is a strong advantage for customer interaction.
Possession of a valid Driver’s License vehicles and or motorcycle is preferred.
